10+10+10 Scrapbooking Challenge

I have to admit that this was one of the hardest layouts that I have ever done. The goal was to complete a layout using 10 products, 10 techniques and 10 words all on one layout.

I wasn’t sure that I was going to be able to accomplish this but one of the tips that Stacy Julian gave was that if you think about doing it on the layout then just do it, so that is exactly what I did. If an idea came to my mind while I was working on the layout I would just add it on.

 Ten techniques:

Layering, Stitching, Punching, Embossing, Imperfection, Die Cutting, Distressing, Clustering, Tearing, Piercing

I have to say tearing for me is a technique that I have not used before and it was very hard for me but I managed to do it and after it was done I ended up loving the final product.

The embossing and paper piercing were a ton of fun because I absolutely love to use my embossing folders and I am addicted to paper piercing as well 🙂 I’m such an addict!

I used my sew easy to do the stitching on the layout I was going to use my sewing machine but then I would have had to take her (my appliances and tech gadgets are always referred to as her!) out and gotten her all set up so I decided to just use my sew easy and some embroidery thread :).

Ten Products:

Creative Memories Black Shimmer Cardstock, Bazzill Tungsten Textured Cardstock, Websters Designer Trim, My MindS Eye Lost and Found Cardstock, DCWV Butterfly Garden Cardstock, Epiphany Crafts, Crate Paper Brunch Collection, Rhinestones, AC Thickers, Sew Easy, Victorian Velvet Distress Ink

All these products and techniques made a great layout that I am very happy with!

I had to laugh at “imperfection” being on the list of ten techniques. I must use that in EVERY project! 🙂 You really worked it on this one! Turned out so sweet with the little pictures of your sweet little gal!

LOL I figured if Stacy Julian could use that as a technique then so could I. Thanks so much for the wonderful compliments Kristie!
