A New Year, A New Word!

I have to say since I started my site 4 years ago now, and this is the first year that I did not create a Happy New Year and OLW post on the first. Somehow the time just got away from me. Plus the working until December 23rd and then celebrating Christmas was very hard on me this year, as usually with the school schedule we are on break the week before Christmas.

Any who, my word for this year is RESET. Now I signed up for the class last year and just did not work through the prompts and the main kit as well as the album I wanted sold out this year so as far as joining Ali Edwards this year, I did not. That doesn’t mean that before the end of the month I won’t change my mind about the class but I am thinking that I can just work my way through the class content from last year’s word. So these are my plans for my word this year.

I am also changing my planning up this year and I am only planning in one planner and using a Hobonichi as a tracker for my layouts and art journaling creations this year. I thought it would be cool this year to actually keep track of those things because every year I feel like I don’t complete enough; yet I know that I am completing a decent amount of layouts. I am loving the little Hobonichi planner at first I didn’t think that I would like it because it is quite small but I have learned that I really do like it and the paper is glorious because so far all of my favorite pens have not bled through.

I have a ton of other plans for this year as well, like creating new classes and YouTube series and creating more content to help you with your scrapbooking needs. I will be sharing more about all of this at a later date but for now just know that I have lots of content coming your way and I am working on Resetting my life. Have you chosen an OLW for this year?

I always enjoy your posts. I decided not to
do one little word this year due to cost. I have
chosen a word and am enjoy using it more
than when I did OLW. Ali does a great job.

I figured I’ve done the class twice and even though there is something really nice about the community it just wasn’t something that I could afford either this year.

And new beginning perhaps, think about things very wisely. Life is always unexpected.
