App Tuesday-Diptic

The app pick for this week is Diptic! This is a great app that helps you make photo collages of the photos that are in your camera roll on your iPhone or Android phone! Finally an app that is available on both platforms. I try to share apps that are on both platforms but I have a trusty iPhone so some of the apps that I share will only be for iPhone users. Yes I know I’m partial to Apple but I do try and look for the Android apps as well 🙂 Now that I am off topic lets get back to this great app!

Diptic has many different choices of layouts for your collages to choose from. You can choose classic, jumbo, fancy or fresh.

I generally choose the four squared block in the classic mode but that’s just me there are tons of options for you to choose from and you can add text to your photos and have a ton of fun creating your own photo collage.

You can change the borders of your collages and you have different sizes to choose from which are 8×8, 10×10 and 12×12 this is right up the scrapbooking alley! You can also drag your borders and place them where ever you would like on your collage.

All you have to do is drag the lines with your finger to where you want them and let go. You can also share your Diptic collages with several different apps which makes sharing your collages with your friends and family very easy.

All in all the app is very simple and easy to use and can be a ton of fun. I use the app to create photo collages for the blog and for Facebook all the time.

Speaking of photos I wanted to share that I started a new Facebook group where a monthly challenge will be posted every month. The challenge will be a sketch template for you to use to get your photos off of your phones and into a scrapbook. January is the first month and I have created a lovely sketch to use for the January Challenge. The sketch can be found at the Facebook Group iScrap-n-Snap and here on the site under iScrap-n-Snap.

Come on over and join us and play along for the first ever iScrap-n-Snap challenge. If you don’t have a cell phone that you use for photos you can still play along with us!

If you have a specific app that you use to create collages I would love to know about it! Share with us in the comments.

      Hi Retha,
The app can be a ton of fun once you start playing around with it and it makes it very easy for me to post photo collages on my site when I need too!
