App Tuesday – Scrap Stash

Today I am sharing with you a wonderful app that allows you to keep track of all your product. How many times have you gone to the store and you weren’t sure if you had that ink pad or that embossing folder or die. It happens to all of us at one point or another. Scrap Stash is only available for iPhone users at this time but it is a great little app.

The app allows you to scan the bar code of a product, from there you can either add it your wish list or to your “my stash”. You can also manually enter the UPC number which I have done because I had already thrown away my packaging.

You have five areas on the app which are my stash, wish list, add product, search and login.

The my stash tab has all your product that you have added and a search box at the top that allows you to search through your stash.

The wish list tab is anything that you have added to your wish list. Say you’re in a store and you would like to purchase something but you do not have the funds or the time to do so at that time. You can simply scan the bar code and add it to your wish list.

The add product tab is where you scan the bar code of a product or manually add in the bar code numbers for a product. After you have added the product you choose whether or not the product is in your stash or is going to your wish list.

The search tab allows you to search your product.

The login tab is where you login either through your Twitter or Facebook account. I went to their site to look for information about what happens if you don’t have twitter or Facebook account. The site states that at this time the only way to log in is through twitter or Facebook and that they are working on a way to log in without twitter or Facebook but at this time they don’t have that option.

So there you have it a nifty little app that helps you keep track of all your wonderful scrapbooking products. I like the app and it seems to work for me. I haven’t bought anything double since I have had the app.

You can also access your stash on a computer by going to scrappypedia.com

Great app, Beth. I don’t have a smart phone, but I accessed this through my computer. I decided to add my Cricut Cartridges to the My Stash tab. I got a good start tonight and will finish at the next crop I go to.

I want to add all my ink pads next.

Thanks for the heads up about this cool site!

    Happy scrapbooking!

Glad you found it helpful. I love having it especially when I am in a rush in the store because it allows me to quickly know if I have something or not. It really helps with the ink pads and the embossing folders. Hope you are doing well! Have you completed any new layouts recently?

      1. Marcia Brown

No new layouts, except for a two page spread that my boss wanted me to do with some new scrapbook paper we got in for Valentine’s Day. I have been busy making Christmas cards!

        Happy New Year!

It is a cool little app and its useful which is always a good thing!!! I’m on the hunt for all the apps that can help scrapbooking help. Is there an app that you wish was available for us scrapbookers?

  4. Sarah

Just downloaded the app to my phone. Definitely looking forward to using it because I often have no idea what color yarn I already have stashed away. Thank you so much for sharing this, I am exited to learn how it works 🙂

Hi Sarah it’s really easy to use. It finds the products by using the barcode. If you don’t have a barcode to scan you can enter the product manually online at there site.
