What does it mean to Rock Your Notebook?

Posted by Beth Soler on

Welcome to the world of rocking your notebook! You might be wondering what that means and I am going to explain my thoughts to you in this post!

Rocking Your Notebook means that you are using it and making it yours. Your notebook doesn't own you so no fear of the blank page can happen here! You own the notebook and you can make it as clean and simple or as messy as you want. The point is to enjoy your notebook and not become paralyzed by the blank page.

Don't get caught up in the blank page or the pretty notebook syndrome. Let's chat about this statement for a minute.

The blank page syndrome is when your staring at this piece of paper and your looking at it wondering what in the world you are going to do with this piece of paper. Your thinking do I write in it, do I paint it, do I draw in it, do I plan it, do I memory keep in it, do I write down my deepest and darkest secrets? Now you are probably wondering what the answer is and I am going to tell you the answer is YES to all of it or at least YES  to whatever your heart desires.

When you purchase a notebook you are purchasing it with the intent to use that notebook and that is exactly what I want you to do all the time. Use your notebook to it's fullest potential and create a notebook that you will love when all the pages are filled and you have a chunky noteook left. These are your memories and your thoughts, which means that this notebook is a part of you!

Don't be ashamed of what you create in your notebooks and embrace it all the perfection and inperfection of your notebook because just like life you have perfect and inperfect moments.

I hope this post has inspired you to ROCK YOUR NOTEBOOK out and just have some fun!
