Cheap and Easy Stamp Cleaner

Hi everybody,

I had a relaxing weekend for the most part but my body just seemed to crash on Sunday. I didn’t make anything or get on the computer or do anything at all. I did do some laundry, how exciting is that?? Saturday I was able to work on some layouts, make some flowers, and make my own stamp cleaner. I did all this with my little one right by my side the whole time. There is something about little girls that just makes them attached to you at all times. Friday night was my friend’s wedding which was a beautiful night! I guess since I was so busy on Friday and Saturday that I deserved to shut down on Sunday.

I haven’t taken pictures of the layouts that I have worked on yet but I am going to share with you the stamp cleaner that I found online! It works really well and is a lot cheaper to make it then to buy it!

The recipe for stamp cleaner is as follows:

  • 2 tablespoons of glycerin (can be found at your local drugstore)
  • 8 ounces of distilled water
  • 1 tablespoon of baby shampoo
  • 1 spray bottle

Mix all of these items together and you are good to go! Spray your rubber or acrylic stamp and clean it off with your sponge and your all done. Does anyone else make their own stamp cleaner and if so what recipe do you follow?
