Creativity Challenge

I am on day 19 of doing something creative everyday and I am still going strong. This challenge to myself has made me clean up my scrappy area, finish my 2014 album, make cards, create layouts, and get back into my crocheting. I made a bunch of cards on Saturday for World Card making day and finished an art journal page that I have been trying to finish for weeks this weekend. Plus finishing my 2014 album was like a huge weight was lifted off of me and now I can finally get cracking on my 2015 album.

I have also gotten a decent amount of my Week In The Life started! As I said when I first started this challenge though the creativity does not have to only be with paper crafts and you don’t have to finish a project either you just have to get creative. As a crafter I am definitely one of those people that has in the past fallen into the trap of purchasing more crafty stuff then I am creating. I don’t want to purchase all this awesome stuff and never use it and I was finding that with working and taking care of the kids I wasn’t making that conscious effort like I used to find a few minutes each day for myself to get crafty. I was coming up with excuses all the time.

NO MORE EXCUSES

It was time for me to find a way to get back to what makes me happy and crafting makes me happy, which is why I came up with this challenge for the month of October. I am hoping that I will maintain the same level of craftiness through the entire month but for now I am just happy that I am getting crafty. Here are a few of things that I have done this month.
