Cute Digital Stamp Makes a Great Card

Here I am with my Party Time Tuesdays Challenge with a digital stamp from Digi Garden. The Digi Garden has fantastic stamps and they are all so cute! I wish I could buy them all. I kept it pretty simple for this card. I colored my stamp with some Sharpie and Bic Markers because I wanted to see how it would turn out. I was pleasantly surprised with how well my cute little stamp came out.

I wanted my stamp to be the focal point of the card so I created a standard A2 card (4¼x5½) and created a background by trimming purple card stock and cream card stock and layering them as the base of the card. I cut out my digital stamp and adhered her to the card. I then stamped my sentiment in the lower corner and left it alone.

My card was a simple no fuss card that didn’t take to long to create. I like creating clean and simple cards and layouts, as if you haven’t noticed :).

What I like about this card is that it is easy enough for me to create a few of them at one time and stamp different sentiments on it so that I can then ship them off to card care connection or operation write home.

Do you send any of your cards to a charity? Let me know in the comments I am always looking for other places that I could send cards to.

Thank you so much Kristie. I posted this last night and was not aware at the time that the owner of Digi Garden has passed away. We will be doing some type of tribute to her for the entire month of February.

    Hi, Beth!

Your card turned out really cute! There are so many new colors of Sharpies now! My step-daughter got her mom some of the new colors for Christmas.

I don’t generally send cards to charities, but I have known people who do. I guess one place that people could send their cards or take their cards, would be to a nursing home. They could use them there to either give to the residents at holidays or have them available for the more alert residents to send to loved ones.

    Have a great week!

There really are so many great colors out there. I haven’t been able to find a sharpie that can create skin color yet so I will stick with my copics for that. I like giving back and sending my cards out to charity places. I never thought about sending them to nursing homes.

What a cute card. I wonder if i could get my Cameo to cut one like that out for me?

Love the bright colors. I am getting ready to send some cards over to the troops when we pack at work this month.
