FAQ's
Business Hours:
Monday-Friday 9 am to 4 pm EST. I am closed on the weekends and holidays. Please give me 24-48 hours to reply to your emails. I will answer emails in the order that they are received.
What is the cost of shipping?
-All shipping is handled through USPS, $4.50 for First Class or $8.00 for Priority. Priority mail is used for heavier packages as well as faster shipping time.
What is the lead time before packages are sent?
-Each order is custom made, and I am a one-woman show! Typically, orders are shipped 2-3 weeks after receiving each order. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, expect a 3 week lead time prior to shipping. I am putting the highest quality work into your products, and you can’t rush perfection!
How quickly will my package get to me?
-Sent through USPS, your First Class packages typically arrive within 1-5 days. Your Priority Mail packages typically arrive within 1-3 days. Please keep in mind that I am not responsible for delays once the order ships.
How are my products packaged?
-All products are placed inside a glassine bag, then inside a bubble mailer or a box, depending on your order size. Glassine bags are reusable, recyclable, biodegradable, as well as water resistant (not waterproof). If your order is boxed, expect a recycled box - there is already plenty of cardboard going around!
Do you accept returns?
-At this time, I am unable to process returns. If in the unlikely event that your product arrives damaged or something is missing, simply email me at rockyournotebook@gmail.com with a photo of the damaged product, and I will happily send a replacement as quickly as possible!
Do you offer gift cards?
-Yes! A gift any stationary lover can use to pick their favorite products for journaling, planning, or creating art! Gift cards can be used for any products on RockYourNotebook.com.
About these notebooks, why is hand-stitched better?
-Hand-stitching allows the highest-quality papers to stay in place and lie flat! These papers will not tear or fall apart no matter what your mediums, keeping your valuable creations safely together inside!
There are a lot of paper selections, what are the differences?
-I am admittedly a bit of a paper snob, so let me tell you all about each type!
*32 LB Premium - This paper handles watercolor beautifully, as well as acrylics. No ghosting, only a very slight see through with super wet gel pens.
*Rhodia (gray dot grid) - Rhodia paper can handle watercolors with a tiny bit of buckling, this thin paper is wonderful for writing, doodling, and drawing.
*Tomoe - One of my absolute faves - I love everything about Tomoe paper! Available in white or cream, and in 52gsm or artist-grade 68gsm, this paper has a bit of ghosting however no bleed through!
*100% Cotton - Has a lovely tooth (or texture) with a soft feel - a stunning paper! This one is a bit more pricey.
*Onion Skin Paper - This paper is super thin and translucent! You can see through through it but it doesn’t leak, and can even hold up to watercolors. It also has a fabulous crinkly sound!
*English Rose - It’s a pale pink 24lb paper made with 25% cotton. It has very little bleed through, no ghosting, can handle watercolor, and so smooth to write on.
