Mixed Media Traveler’s Notebook Insert

Welcome to the Spring is Everywhere Blog Hop, you should have come here from Lisa’s blog where she shared her Spring planner cover. Today I am sharing with you one of my art journal layouts that I created in my new TN insert in my Etsy shop.
This art journal layout litteraly took me less then 10 minutes to create and I was so happy with the outcome. I used my Faber Castell Gelatos on my TN insert that is made from the Tomoe River paper. I din’t have to do any page prep to the pages in order to get the Gelato’s  to blend amazingly well with just my fingers and baby wipes.
I grabbed some printables that I have had printed from Wilna Furstenberg and some word stickers from Pink Fresh Studios and Tim Holtz. Literally that was all I did and it made me feel so good. The reason why I wanted to share this layout with you all is because I wanted to share that art journaling doesn’t have to be a long process and that something as simple as blending Gelatos and adding printables and words can make an art journal complete and that you can still feel satisfied.
I have a super short video that you can watch on how this art journal spread came together and you can purchase my travelers notebook inserts here my Etsy shop. If you haven’t seen everyone’s post here is the full blog hop line up.

Wow! I’m impressed at how quickly you were able to create such a gorgeous background! I can’t wait to order a TN insert from you so I can try that cool paper, it’s so thin but really holds mixed media well.
