Operation Write Home

I have been cardmaking for a while now as I find it ridcoulous to pay almost 4 dollars for a store bought card that doesn’t always have the look that I want it to have. I have heard about Operation Write Home for a while but I would hear about it and then I would say I am going to do that and never do it. Finally today I went ahead and signed up for Operation Write Home. The logistics seem simple enough create cards for our soldiers so that they can send cards to their loved ones. There are some specificiations that need to be followed which can all be found here. So I am going to go ahead and make some cards for our soldiers. They don’t take a long time to make and they could use them. I hope some of you will join me!

I don’t make cards, but when I was deployed (back in 2007) I loved getting care packages that had homemade cards in them. It was nice to have something other than printer paper or notebook paper to write home. Thank you!

      Hi Norine,
I am glad that you think this is a good idea and I am hoping that other soldiers will feel the same way.
