Quick and Easy Class Valentines Day Cards

I was racking my brain on what to do for my daughters Valentines this year. I am so tired of the store bought things and for the past few years I have done something homemade. I love my Cricut Explore and the Design Space, Make It Now projects, make it super easy for me to do projects like this in no time. I love how this adorable Valentine coloring card looked and so wanted to make them. At first I was completely deterred because Cricut was telling me that it was going to cost me $10.97 to make these cards and I was not willing to pay that price for these cards.

A quick phone call to Cricut support to find out was going on and come to find out that the person that designed these cards used two different fonts that are not available in the subscription. I had to customize my easy Make It Now project which took me forever! I am sure it wouldn’t have taken me as long if I knew what I was doing in Design Space but after a little finagling I managed to figure it all out and get my cute little Valentine Coloring Cards made.

Here comes the sad news, I ran out of my Close To My Heart White Daisy cardstock and now comes the really sad part I only had some regular cardstock that I am not even quite sure where it came from and before I could finish cutting all the cards that I needed I ran out of paper. I will be placing an order tomorrow for my White Daisy cardstock so that I can get this project finished and ready for my daughters class.

Here are the cards that I made. I didn’t have a chance to make it to the dollar store to grab some crayons for them but at least I have a week before Valentine’s Day to get to the dollar store! You can grab my version of this Make It Now project so that you won’t have to go through the trouble of changing all the font on the cards yourself just click HERE for the Design Space file.

I apologize for the photos but I had to take them at night and of course I did not have the best lighting. All I can say is becoming a teacher has definitely messed with the amount of time that I have to do things these days. Now you can check out what the other ladies have come up with for this Make It Monday!

Cute cards. No kids needing cards and no Explore, but almost makes me wish for both. Happy Monday!
