Soccer Sunday

So I signed Raena up for soccer….oh what was I thinking was my first thought at 6:30 A.M. this morning. When you have to be at soccer by 8:30 A.M. you have no choice but to bite the bullet and get up at 6:30 A.M. on a Sunday morning. So again what was I thinking? LOL. I got up and went straight to the Keurig for my morning coffee. I highly suggest a Keurig for coffee lovers. I think it is my favorite appliance in the whole house! I don’t have to wait for a whole pot of coffee to brew anymore and since I am the only coffee drinker in the house it is the best thing ever!! So I get my coffee, get dressed and go wake up my little monster! She didn’t want to wake up either this morning but as soon as I told her that we had to get ready for soccer, her eyes popped open and she said ok mommy let’s get ready.

Then we get to the gym where she is going to play soccer at. Thank God it is indoor soccer as it is blistering hot in South Florida right now. We get there and all of a sudden Raena has become shy and she doesn’t want to play. Which I was very surprised about because she is normally my social butterfly.

This is Raena’s I am shy and I don’t want to go play face

Then it was play time. Obviously 3 and 4 year old’s do not know how to play soccer nor are they ready to learn the basic skills of soccer. What do they do they do, you might ask? They run around and kick the ball!!! It ‘s great exercise and she had a ton of fun. So next Sunday when I wake up at 6:30 A.M. and wonder what am I doing I will remind myself that Raena had a blast and is really looking forward to going back to play at another soccer game.

Here she is warming up with all the other 3 and 4 year olds! She is #41

Next weekend I think I will bring my SLR camera so that I can some great action shots! I am definitely looking forward to scrapbooking Raena’s first time playing soccer. This is a whole lot different from dance class where I wasn’t allowed to see her dancing and couldn’t get any pictures.

Here they are just running around after the ball!

You’ve selected the pictures. You wrote journaling. Why not just do a digital page?!?!? Especially since you did such a good job!! LOL

I definitely plan on it but these were just pictures taken with my iPhone. The ones that I’ll use are still on the camera!

Thank you so much. It is her first time playing a sport. We have already done the ballet thing! I am a tom boy at heart so I am enjoying the fact that she is playing soccer right now! I will definitely be posting more pictures of our soccer outings 🙂
