Thanksgiving Folio Album

make it monday fall blog hopI am back this month with another Folio album! These things are just to darn cute and easy to make. You can find the tutorial on how to make these albums from My Sisters Scrapper . The one thing I do differently in my album is that I make these folios using the Close To My Heart flip flaps. I absolutlely love these things and they make it so easy to add photos to these mini albums or add photos to your regular scrapbook layouts or project life. You can grab some of these amazing flip flaps at my shop.

To finish this folio off I used my Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge to create some great tags, make the shaker frame and make the title for my folio. The shaker frame was made by gluing a bunch of frames together using my bonding memories glue. I love, love, love this stuff. This glue is just so awesome, I even used the glue to wrap my paper around the chipboard and of course there is no rippling in my paper of any sort even though this is a wet glue. By using the bonding memories glue I save a ton of money by not having to use scor-tape or my ATG. You can grab this awesome glue here.

Back to the shaker card, I used my Cricut and cut out six frames and one pretty frame. I have some old transparency hanging around my house and of course I have sequins. I punched out some cute fall leaves with an old Creative Memories punch. I think next time I make a shaker frame I will add a few more frames to give it more height. You can grab the cut file for the shaker frame here I already added more frames to it for you.

The entire album and all the little extras were all created with the Pathfinding paper pack which you can grab here.

Great little album, Beth! I love your tags you’ve cut designs into. Yes, those Flip-Flaps are a great invention. This reminded me I need to order some more!
