The Story of Magic

So far I have shared two kits from Ali Edwards where I have shared stories with you. I shared some stories about the Click kit and I shared some stories about the AM/PM kit but the Magic kit I think was one of my favorite kits. I got a ton of layouts done with this kit and truly loved scrapping every bit of Magic that I have found in our lives, that’s what this kit was all about, finding the Magic in our lives.

I had so much fun with this double page layout and using up scraps to get it done. All paper is from Close To My Heart and the bottom brown piece of paper with the arrows is the zip strip off one of my B&T Duo papers from Close To My Heart. Of course white daisy cardstock was used as my base. I seem to be using white daisy cardstock as my base for a layout more often these days. I like being able to alter the white paper to look the way that I want it to look.

The rest of the paper that I used came from the Year Noted Kit from this year which was by far one of my favorite paper packs. I decided that it was time to stop hoarding it and to start using it! You know us scrapbookers love to hoard pretty paper!

I painted the gold stripes with the gold paint that came with my Ali Edwards kit and I used the alphas and chipboard pieces that came with the kit in the journaling areas. The cards that came with the kit matched the paper that I chose to use perfectly so I added those to my layouts as well. The little stars that came with the kit were the perfect embellishment and I added them with multi medium matte which I have to say is one of the best products that I have ever worked with.
