Tiny Feet and Ten Toes

Baby layouts are just so fun to make, actually any layout that has something to do with my kids I enjoy making. Any who I had a hard time carrying baby #3 and then he  joined us I had some health issues as well. Needless to say some things were forgotten like the scrapbook paper that was needed to get his foot prints done by the nurses.

I remembered to bring the scrapbook paper to the hospital but completely forgot to bring it to the delivery room. This means that his infant footprints never made it on to my paper and when I asked the nurses if they could do it later the answer was no. One wonderful nurse did bring me the ink to do his footprints myself but for some reason I never did it while in the hospital or even when I got home. I decided that six months was long enough and I was going to get this baby’s footprints on to some scrapbook paper no matter what and that is exactly what I did.

I wanted to scrap it right away so I broke out my Selphy and put it to work. I printed my photos and went through my paper. I have a decent amount of paper but I have realized that I have way to much girly paper if you know what I mean. I chose to cut down the paper with his footprints on it to 10×10 and grabbed some paper from the Close To My Heart Timberline which is now retired. I distressed the edges of the white paper with some Tim Holtz Tea Dye ink because the white just looked to stark against the patterned paper. I then laid out my photos grabbed a few embellies and journaled my heart away. Before I knew it my layout was done and I scrapped my babies adorable little feet!
