Waterfall Fun

A while back someone had posted this amazing mini album in one of my Facebook groups and I thought to myself now that’s just amazing! Before I knew it I was introduced to a YouTube channel called my sisters scrapper and this has become my little slice of heaven.

I love all the tutorials that are available on her channel and I have tried two of them so far. The first one was a mini pocket page album and the second one was the waterfall folio.

Of course with Halloween being right around the corner and the new challenge up on Take Heart Ideas, I just knew that this was what I was going to make.

Here is my take on the waterfall folio tutorial. The only difference is that instead of using card stock to create my waterfall I used the amazing Close To My Heart flips flaps! These things are awesome and I thought that they would work perfectly. Not only did they work perfectly but I was able to get 8 of them in the folio.

The other thing that I did differently was using Close To My Heart’s bonding memories glue to adhere the chipboard and the paper together.

This is the first wet glue that I have worked with that not only has a permanent seal but it doesn’t wrinkle the paper when wet and when it dries you can’t even tell that you used a wet glue.

I also used the bonding memories glue and my Xyron maker to put

my Cricut image together. I seriously will never know how I used to live without my Xyron.

Now I put together a little walk through video of my folio but of course you can hear my kids in the background some!
